MERLIN ET PRINCESSE

Ça fait bien longtemps que j'ai donné des nouvelles de mes minets adorés. Ils vont bien. Aujourd'hui, Princesse fait une infection à l'oeil. Je compte acheter un onguent antibiotique cet après-midi et commencer le traitement.... Pauvre petite. Je vous en redonnerai des nouvelles...

It has been a long time since I've given you news about my adorable kitties! They are fine but today, Princesse has an eye infection. I will buy an antibiotic ointment this afternoon and begin a treatment tonight... Poor baby... I will keep you posted!



J'espère qu'elle va retrouver ses magnifiques yeux bleus!

Hier, j'ai rencontré Mademoiselle Moumou. C'est la chatte de la fille de mon amie Théo, le peintre. Théo a fait le portrait de Moumou et l'a donné en cadeau de Noël à sa fille. Ici, le modèle pose devant l'oeuvre... :)


Yesterday, I met Miss Moumou. She is the cat of my friend Théo's daughter. Théo has painted Moumou and had given it to Annie as Christmas gift. Here, you can admire the painting and the model! :)

Zoe était une vieille chienne, mais perdre un animal de compagnie est toujouts triste, surtout quand on a toujours vécu avec lui. J'ai de la peine pour Andrea et sa famille. Puisse Zoe courir à tout jamais dans des champs immenses avec plein de bâtons à rapporter, d'odeurs à renifler et de chats et chiens très gentils.

Zoe was an old dog, but loosing a pet is always sad, especially when the animal has been in the family for all it's life. I am sad for Andrea and her family. May Zoe run for Eternity in the greenest of fields, with tons of stick to bring back, thousands of new odours to sniff and many kind cats and dogs!

LOUTRE

De tous les animaux observés à l'Aquarium de Vancouver cet été, la loutre est certainement celui que j'ai trouvé le plus amusant. Ces petites bêtes ont vraiment l'air de passer leur temps à nager sur le dos, à profiter du soleil, à manger et à bailler... Le vrai farniente! J'imagine que dans la nature, leur vie est beaucoup moins facile. Mais ces loutres-là semblaient vraiment mener la vie des gens riches et célèbres... :)

Of all the animals I've observed at the Vancouver Aquarium, the sea otter was certainly the funniest. Swimming on their back, takin sun baths, eating and yawwwwning seem to be their everyday occupations! Farniente! Their life in the wild is certainly not so glamourous. But those sea otters were having the life of the rich and famous... :)

Violetta était la chatte d'un de mes amis bloggueur, Dib, un membre de Web-Pix. Dib avait déjà posté plusieurs photos de sa drôle de chatte sur ce blog, et chaque image me faisait toujours rire. La petite bête était vraiment sympatique. Je suis très triste pour Dib et sa femme... Dieu te garde, petite Violetta. Va vite au Paradis des chats! >^..^<

Violetta was the cat of one of my bloggerfriend, Dib. He is a member of Web-Pix and has posted many pics of his funny nice cat there. Those pics have made me laugh many times. I am so sad for my friend and his wife... Godspeed, Violetta. To the Paradise of Cats! >^..^<

Les tamias rayés du Lac Louise en Alberta sont effrontés. Ils viennent vous voir, montent après vos pantalons et repartent s'ils constatent que vous n'avez rien à leur donner. J'ai vu beaucoup de gens les nourrir, même s'il est interdit de le faire. Certains humains ne savent pas lire. Et les tamias rayés non plus... Trooooop miiiiiiiiignon!

Chipmunks of Lake Louise in Alberta are really cheeky. They come to see you, climb on your pants and go away if they see you have no food for them. I have seen many people giving them some peanuts or sesame seeds, even if there is a ban to do so. Some human can't read. And the chipmumks can't either... But they are sooooooooooo cuuuuuuuuuute!

LE BLOG ABANDONNÉTHE LOST BLOG

Mon pauvre blog. Je l'ai complètement délaissé depuis un certain temps. Je vais essayer de poster plus souvent. J'ai pris énormément de photos durant mon voyage dans l'Ouest canadien (1200) et plusieurs d'entre elles montrent des animaux. Vous verrez donc dans les prochaines semaines plusieurs images d'animaux sauvages (pas toujours très sauvages). Et bon anniversaire en retard, blog. Tu as un an depuis le 27 juillet! :)

My poor blog. I have abandoned it since a few weeks. I will try to post more often. I have taken many pics while I was in Western Canada (1200) and in the few next weeks, I will post some nice photos of animals in the wild (sometimes not so wild). And Happy belated Birthday, blog. You are one year old since the 27th of July! :)

MIGNONS MINETSCUTE CATS

Oui! Ce sont des chats et non des fauves... Ils étaient si mignons. Premiers animaux rencontrés lors de mon voyage dans l'Ouest. Dans un centre d'achat de Winnipeg. Les animaux rencontrés par la suite furent plus... sauvages!

Yep! Those are real cats... They were soooo cuuuute! First animals met during my trip to Western Canada. In a Mall in Winnipeg. The animals I met after that were more.... wild!
